Roscommon County Council New HQ and Court House Building Modifications.

The project consists of some 6600m2 of office accommodation, laboratories, canteen and council chamber for the Local Authority within a single building together with modifications to the adjacent existing court building and the introduction of a new surface car park.

The client brief from the outset required the building to have a BER A3 Energy Rating and BREEAM Excellent Certification. These criteria had to be and were achieved under the strict cost limits which prevailed at the time.

The Mechanical and Electrical Concept was as follows;
