Maryfield Nursing Home

Maryfield Nursing Home, Old Lucan Road, Chapelizod, Dublin 20. The development comprises the demolition of 5 no. independent living units and demolition of part of the existing nursing home building. The total area of demolition is approx 3300sqm. Works include the construction of a new part 2, part 3 storey, extension to the east of the existing nursing home building incorporating 69 ensuite bedrooms to replace the existing 55 bedrooms, day spaces, support spaces and associated ancillary spaces.

Part of the existing building including the chapel is to be retained and refurbished to provide social spaces for the residents and administrative/support areas. At the end of Phase 1 patients from the existing live nursing home were decanted in to their new home, which involved detailed planning and coordination.
