Orchard Housing, Limerick

Developed as part of Limerick City Council’s urban renewal programme and designed as part of a greater masterplan for Castle Street, the project looks to reinstate the medieval street character of this historical quarter while providing 28 units in a mix of one and two-bed, fully-accessible apartments for older persons.

The project, which is defined by the line of Limerick’s city wall, creates a secure, residential community organized around a private, central communal courtyard.
