15,000m2 Acute Hospital in Waterford. The building was handed over in a phased basis. Systems were designed in a planned manner to facilitate these handovers. Subsequent works which were carried out by HOB in a live hospital environment included a 2-phased fit out of a 14 bed ward, a Swiftcare 4 bed ward and 3 consultancy suites to a value of €2.2m. Whitfield Clinic has state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Whitfield Clinic was nominated for the Healthcare Awards, as one of the top 2 hospitals worldwide. The facility includes;

- 40 en suite single inpatient rooms / 24 day surgery beds

Whitfield was the first private clinic with all comfort cooled private bedrooms throughout hospital. Installation of two number linear accelerators used for Radiotherapy Treatment in mass concrete bunkers. Due to increased power of linear accelerator machines over standard equipment the installation of ‘neutron doors’ were required to be installed on the inlet to the bunker maze
