The new Aberdeen Centre 100 Bed Unit

The newly completed 100 bed unit named The Aberdeen Centre was completed with the expertise and excellent team working by the design, construction, project management and Peamount Healthcare Team. It has been nominated in the category of Healthcare Project of the Year. This project started as a feasibility study in 2014 and moved to a state of the art facility at completion. Homan O’Brien delivered the Mechanical, Electrical, ICT and Vertical Transport Design and associated utilities upgrades to cater for this new scheme.

This Capital Project was jointly funded by Peamount Healthcare and HSE Capital Projects and the project was delivered on time and within budget.

The Aberdeen Centre is situated within the current mature landscaped campus surrounded by newly developed wheelchair accessible sensory gardens and internal courtyards, with many bedrooms experiencing wonderful views of the Dublin Mountains.

With an abundance and emphasis on natural light throughout the building to individual spacious patient en-suite bedrooms, bright dining and living accommodation and therapy spaces, we are delighted to be associated with this project.
