We have used the quantity of PV Panels to demonstrate the negative impact of an open fire in this case.

The Table below shows the increased number of PV Panels required to compensate for an open fire in the Living Room of different sized houses – other technologies can be used too, we have just used PV Panels to demonstrate the point.
